Understanding Stroke 20x26
This 20" x 26" (51 x 66 cm) examination-room anatomy poster explains and illustrates stroke, including the two main types: ischemic and hemorrhagic. For ischemic stroke (blockage), it shows common sites of plaque formation, formation of a thrombus and embolus.
For hemorrhagic strokes (bleeding), it illustrates intracerebral hemorrhage and ateriovenous malformation (AVM). Depicted are the circle of Willis with aneurysm and cross section of brain with subarachnoid hemorrhage, arterioles and microaneurysm. ©2006
