Migraines & Headaches Chart 20x26
When a headache is really bad, you are unable to function, you just want to burry your head beneath pillows and sleep. The biggest clue that you have a serious problem is when over-the-counter medications are ineffective. This 20" x 26" (51 x 66 cm) anatomy poster describes and illustrates three main types of headaches: migraine, cluster and tension-type.
The poster illustrates the steps in the pathway of a migraine attack, from the start deep within the brain to the pain of peripheral and central sensitization. Information on secondary (organic) headaches is provided. It was developed and revised in conjunction with the Diamond Headache Clinic, a premier headache and migraine health care facility. It lists healthy lifestyle strategies to manage and avoid headaches. ©2007
