Salad Dressing For Dry Scalp

RECIPE Part 2. A gnawing stomach signals hunger. Similarly, you can associate an itchy scalp with a hungry one. Topical remedies have already been discussed. Now nourish from the inside with a citrusy flaxseed oil and apple cider vinegar salad dressing. It's easy with equal parts oil and vinegar. Add some seasoning and adjust the ratio to suit your personal taste. Make enough for one large salad before scaling up ingredients to a larger batch.

  • 3 Tbs apple cider vinegar
  • 3 Tbs flaxseed oil
  • 1 Tbs agave syrup (or honey)
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • Fresh ground black pepper
Flax and Cider

Whisk together first three (liquid) ingredients until slightly smooth. Add salt and pepper and blend until creamy. Whole Foods Market has a recipe with more ingredients, including dried herbs. [1] If you decide to go that route, it may be a good idea to strain the dressing before pouring over your salad to keep those annoying bits of herbs from sticking to your tongue.

Let's be clear. You are not advised to pour salad dressing on your head. The dressing is for eating. Enjoy it on a salad with potassium-rich leafy vegetables.
